In order to promote the development and utilization of building energy saving and new style energy, The 2nd China (Qingdao) International Building Energy-saving & Renewable Energy Utilization Fair, which is organized by Construction Science and Technology Development Promotion Center of PRC, Center of Energy Efficiency in Building of PRC and Qingdao Construction Committee, will be held during Oct. 10-12, 2008 at Qingdao International Convention Center, China. As the most influential seaport city and the companion city of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Qingdao plays a very important role in trading and cooperating between China and Japan, Korea, Russia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan etc countries and regions. As a window of "Olympic Qingdao", the fair gets great support from Science and Technology Agency of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of PRC, Construction Department of Shandong Province and Qingdao Construction Committee. It is estimated that the exhibition space will come to 20, 000sqm, with 800 standard booths. The attending companies are mainly from German, Canada, Australia and Russia etc 20 countries and regions, the number would come to 300. The professional visitors would be up to 30, 000.
